My venture into the virtual assistance industry began after departing from my corporate role as a Customer Service Representative in the Business Process Outsourcing industry. Eager for a new path, I transitioned into remote work as a Virtual Assistant.

My initial experience as a virtual assistant involved managing listings for a realtor in Michigan. However, my responsibilities quickly expanded to include calendar management, social media, and various administrative tasks. While I initially secured this role through an agency, I soon realized the significant portion of earnings they retained. Determined to find fairer opportunities, I chose not to renew my contract with the agency after six months.

Subsequently, I embarked on a role as an Executive Assistant to a director of operations in a Mortgage company, still hired through an agency but negotiating rates directly with the client. Unfortunately, the Ukraine-Russia conflict led to the release of all VAs, including myself. Undeterred, with over two years of experience, I sought direct client opportunities online.

My next client, a direct hire, operated a Remote Home Service Cleaning Academy. Initially serving as his executive assistant, I later assisted in outsourcing VAs to his academy students scaling their businesses. It was during this time that the idea of creating my own headhunting agency was born.
